Founded in 1993, the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant, independent nonprofit organization of dynamic business leaders committed to the economic prosperity and civic well-being of the greater Silver Spring, Maryland community.

The Chamber is home to member organizations ranging in size from sole proprietorships to international companies with thousands of employees and includes real estate management and development firms, cutting-edge bio-technology firms, information technology companies, restaurants, hotels, world-renowned entertainment companies, and others.

Our members are located throughout Montgomery County, from Silver Spring to Burtonsville, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, Gaithersburg, Rockville, Wheaton, as well as Washington D.C. and Prince George’s County.

A non-partisan, independent 501(c)(6) organization, the Chamber is supported entirely by, and operates exclusively for the benefit of, its member companies. While GSSCC often coordinates activities and agendas with other pro-business organizations, the Chamber is not financially or organizationally affiliated with any national, state, or local chamber or other organization.
