Every October, communities take a day to recognize the important work chambers of commerce do to strengthen local economies, support small businesses and create opportunities for growth. This year, Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day is Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

All this week, the Chamber will be sharing opportunities for members to show their support for the Greater Silver Spring Chamber.

Activities include:

• Learning more about our various committees and peer groups: find the people who share your interests and create organic relationships
• Sharing a testimony of a time the Chamber: connected you with other members, helped solve a business issue, advocated on your behalf, etc.
• Exploring sponsorship opportunities: sponsorships help us provide quality events and visibility to the greater community
• Attending an event: Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the Junkluggers of Capital Beltway is October 16, Coffee and Cards with Cops is October 23, and more.
• Supporting each other: Visit the Chamber Directory and find a member to help you with your next project or need
• And more!
