Volunteer, Give Back with GSSCC Member Non-Profits this Holiday Season

As the holiday season approaches, many will be looking to volunteer and give back to their community through donations and drives. The Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce has many wonderful non-profit member organizations offering varied volunteer and donation opportunities found below. Whether you’re looking to bring your office together for a group activity or are looking for something you can do on your own, there is an option for everyone.

Stock the Food Pantry Campaign:
  • Shelf-stable unexpired foods

Winter Wonderland Donation Campaign:

  • $25 gift cards for teenagers and adults

​Harvest of Hope 2024 Campaign:
  • Purchase a Meal Ticket: By buying a meal ticket, you are directly sponsoring a Thanksgiving meal for one of our clients living in permanent supportive housing. 
  • The cost of one ticket plus additional support is $100.
  • Meal Details: The meals will be distributed to clients at our Thanksgiving event. 

Additional Ways to Support:
  • If you'd like to go above and beyond, consider sponsoring the event.
  • Sponsorships help cover the cost of the meals and additional support for clients this holiday season
